Australian Wound Management Association (AWMA) National Conference 2010
“Journey into new frontiers”
Perth Convention
Exhibition Centre
We would like to
extend a very warm welcome to Perth for the 2010 AWMA Conference. The
theme of our Conference is ‘Journey into New Frontiers’ – an opportunity
to not only reflect on where we are today but more importantly to focus
on the road ahead and the future of wound care. The rate of change is
increasing, with better understanding of wound healing through research,
therapeutic advances and new treatments and increasing evidence-based
changes to wound care all contributing to changing the wound care
landscape. We aim to bring together people from all the areas that are
contributing to changing wound care, from delivery of care through to
therapeutic development.
Communication is key
to change, and by bringing together people from the entire spectrum of
wound care and management to Perth in 2010, we will provide a forum for
clinicians to become better informed of the latest research, researchers
to be better informed of the challenges faced in the clinic and for
everyone involved in wound care to forge new and exciting collaborations
that will become the new frontiers in wound care
