The World
Congress of Cardiology 2008 is jointly organised by the World Heart
Federation, a nongovernmental organization whose mission is to help
people achieve longer and better lives through prevention and control of
heart disease and stroke, with a focus on low- and middle-income
countries, together with the Argentine Society of Cardiology and the
Argentine Federation of Cardiology. Prevention, education and the
sharing of knowledge are just three of the key themes that unite our
approach and which will be reflected throughout all aspects of the
congress, allowing you to learn and network with fellow cardiologists
