  • AIDSinfo - AIDSinfo is a central resource for federally and privately funded clinical trials for AIDS patients and others infected with HIV.

  • Alzheimer's Disease Education and Referral (ADEAR) Center, - This database includes fact sheets, textbook chapters, journal articles, brochures, teaching manuals, directories, videos and other media, bibliographies, program descriptions, monographs, newsletters, and reports.

  • Alzheimer Disease Mutation Database - The Alzheimer Disease Mutation Database (ADMDB) aims at collecting all known mutations and non-pathogenic coding variations in the genes related to Alzheimer disease (AD).

  • CenterWatch - A searchable listing of over 4,100 industry and government-sponsored ongoing clinical trials categorized by therapeutic area and geographic region; useful patient resource

  • ClinicalTrials.gov - Provides regularly updated information about federally and privately supported clinical research using human volunteers

  • CRISP - This searchable database of NIH funded research and intramural research projects contains mainly conventional biomedicine, but contains a growing proportion of alternative medicine research pro jects and clinical trials.

  • DARE - Database of Abstracts of Reviews of Effectiveness, systematic reviews produced by the NHS Centre for Reviews and dissemination, UK.

  • Diseases Database Site Index - Search for information on a disease, symptom, physical sign, non-brand drug or common laboratory abnormality

  • e-MD: ICD-9 Search - Contains a list of official disease descriptions and their codes, plus alternate descriptions.

  • Human Gene Mutation Database at the Institute of Medical Genetics in Cardiff - The Human Gene Mutation Database constitutes the intellectual property of the University of Wales College of Medicine.

  • ICD-9-CM Online - Searchable database of disease classification.

  • Jablonski's: Multiple Congenital Anomaly and Mental Retardation Syndromes - Searchable resource hosted by the National Library of Medicine.

  • Mederrors.com - A searchable database of resources for reducing medication errors. Reviews of articles published in medical journals and other educational materials included.

  • National Cancer Institute (NCI) Cancer.gov Database - Main Index - PDQ Disease Topics for Patients; PDQ Supportive Care Topics for Physicians; PDQ Prevention; PDQ Helplines; NCI Help Center. Search Clinical Trials Database. (Australia)

  • NCCAM Sponsored Research - This listing by year is not in database format but provides a useful overview of all extramural research sponsored by the National Center for Complementary Medicine

  • NCI Screening Data 3D Miner: Cancer - A tool for interactive analysis and visualization of the National Cancer Institute anti-tumor datasets. Contains 41,000 chemical compounds versus 155 cancer cell lines.

  • New Medicine: OncologyKnowledgeBase - Database which includes new technologies and products in development against cancer. This is a subscription-based product.

  • NNii. Site Search - Vaccine/Disease Database. This page provides four different search options for finding immunization and vaccination information on our site. Each search works independently.

  • NORD - National Organization for Rare Disorders, Inc. - Index of Rare Diseases The A-to-Z of Rare Diseases. Rare Disease Database Read about more than 1,100 rare diseases.

  • Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man - Catalog of human genes and genetic disorders authored and edited by Dr. Victor A. McKusick and his colleagues at Johns Hopkins University and elsewhere.

  • PedLynx - This Pediatric Database was designed by Dr. Alan Gandy (MD.,PhD.,FRCP(C)) while enrolled in the Pediatric Residency Programme at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, Canada from 1990-1994.
