New Zealand

  • Auckland Institute of Technology - School of Nursing & Midwifery. Offers pre-registration, post-registration and graduate degrees in Nursing and Midwifery. Located on the Akoranga Campus, 10 kms from the Wellesley Street Campus, Auckland City.
  • Manukau Institute of Technology - Features various streams in nursing, including a bachelor of health science, pre degree nursing preparation for teacher training, part time introduction to operating theatre nursing and part time workshops for nurses.
  • Massey University at Wellington - School of Health Sciences. Includes list of programs, staff, and papers.
  • Nelson Polytechnic - A nursing career can be developed from scratch with a Pre-degree Nursing certificate, or students can directly enter the degree course for a Bachelor of Nursing. There is also the opportunity for registered nurses to obtain the degree part-time while continuing to work.
  • Otago Polytechnic - Department of Nursing and Midwifery. Various opportunities in pre and post-registration bachelor degrees and graduate studies as well as midwifery. Includes list of courses and entry requirements.
  • University of Auckland - Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences. Offers a three-year, full-time undergraduate degree with a fourth honours year option for high achieving students, and postgraduate degrees.
  • University of Otago - Includes programs, qualifications, requirements, and contact information.
  • Victoria University of Wellington - Department of Nursing and Midwifery.
  • Whitireia Community Polytechnic - School of Nursing and Health Studies. Includes options for both postgraduate and undergraduate degrees in Nursing as well as certificates in various streams and specialties.
