Czech Republic

  • Univerzita Karlova - The Faculty of Medicine has been a part of Charles University in Prague since 1348 and is the oldest faculty of Medicine in Central Europe. This Faculty provides also university-level training in Nursing (Bachelor level), Occupational Therapy, Health Care Technology and Health Care Education.

Finland

  • University of Kuopio - Department of Nursing Science - The Department of Nursing Science functions within the Faculty of Social Sciences. The University of Kuopio is focusing its education and research efforts on questions affecting people's health and well-being. 

  • University of Tampere - Department of Nursing Science 
    The major subject studied in all courses at the department is the same, i.e. nursing science. All degree programmes also share the same basic structure: students in each programme take the same general studies and subject studies in nursing science, then go on to specialize in subject-specific studies.

Germany

  • Institute of Nursing Science - The Institute of Nursing Science is one of the first university-based centers to be established in 1990's with the aim of promoting the establishment an development of this subject which is still regarded as a new scientific discipline here in Germany.   • Ulm University Hospital: Nursing School - Our three year hospital based program for generalist nursing starts in april and october each year. There is the opportunity to study in six different courses.

Ireland

  • Dublin City University - School of Nursing. Provides programs in pre and post registration nursing education. Includes description of programs and staff list.

  • University College Cork - Department of Nursing Studies. Delivers a range of courses from the diploma in nursing to PhD. Includes mission, programs offered, and contact information.

  • University College Dublin - Department of Nursing Studies. Diploma, undergraduate and post-graduate programs. Includes list of programs, general requirements, and list of academic staff with areas of interest.

  • Trinity College, Dublin - School of Nursing & Midwifery Studies - Courses, conferences and other details of the college.

Norway

  • University of Bergen: Division for Nursing Sciences - The study of Nursing Science aims at providing students with insight regarding the predicaments the individual and his/her family face in case of illness, injury, handicap, or terminal disease. The study also provides a deeper understanding of nursing matters, as well as theoretical and methodological insight and research skills. 

  • Oslo University College - Faculty of Nursing. Offers history of the program, organization, and curriculum. Oslo, Norway.

Poland

  • Medical University of Silesia - The Medical University of Silesia consists of three faculties: Faculty of Medicine and Division of Nursing in Katowice (the one that carries lectures in English), Faculty of Medicine and Division of Dentistry in Zabrze and Faculty of Pharmacy and Division of Medical Analytics in Sosnowiec.

  • Karol Marcinkowski" University of Medical Sciences in Poznan - The University offers a 3 year study program in nursing. Graduates receive the degree of B.N. After a further 2 years graduates receive the degree of M.Sc. (Nursing) 

Romania

  • Oradea University: Faculty of Medicine - The ORADEA University located at the heart of Europe and Medical community. It has many NOBLE-Prize winners, great researchers and research facilities, and top-class professors. Many of the professors are members of the Medical Scientific Academy in Europe. ORADEA University is WHO, GMC, and EEC listed.

  • The "Iuliu Hatieganu" University: College of Nursing - The College offers a wide range of courses which have just recently been introduced. The College is supervised by the Faculty of Medicine - initiator of this program, as a response to national priorities. 

Russia

  • Volgograd Medical Academy - The Academy has a wide range of working departments offering numerous courses and programs for both native Russians and foreign students. 

  • Samara State Medical University - The basic specialization's in University are: therapy, stomatology, pharmacy, medical psychology, economy and medical management. Graduates of specialized medical schools can continue their studuies in the faculty of academic nurses or in the department of family medicine.

  • The Peoples' Friendship University of Russia - Faculty of Nursing 
    The undergraduate level in Nursing is designed as a four year course leading to the award of the University degree in Nursing and Diploma of Higher Education (Nursing). This qualification will enable its holders to carry out professional activities as nurse-managers in hospitals and recreational centres, in medical insurance companies and also as Senior/Chief Nurses in clinics and hospitals. 

Slovenia

  • University of Maribor - University College of Nursing Studies - The school offers a professional higher education program in nursing studies. 

Spain

Sweden

  • Centre for Caring Sciences: Uppsala, Sweden - Graduate studies in the Caring Sciences are offered at the Centre for Caring Sciences. There are three graduate study programmes, a bachelor's degree programme, a master's degree programme and a doctoral degree programme.

  • Red Cross College of Nursing and Health - Stockholm Red Cross College of Nursing and Health is an independent college that provides higher education within the caring sector. The education has always had an international profile. Collaboration with the Swedish Red Cross and knowledge of its philosophy and work, form an important basis for the education.
