Tanzania

  • Bugando Hospital - The hospital operates as a tertiary care facility, i.e., it handles the people who cannot be served by village doctors or smaller hospitals. The majority of incoming patients require immediate medical care or surgery due to trauma or complicated diseases. And an epidemic of AIDS has led to many of the patients, half of them children, to test positive for the HIV virus. Bugando Hospital is a hospital in crisis and many life saving operations are put off due to lack of essential medical and surgical supplies and/or qualified personnel to administer treatment.

  • Mvumi Hospital - Mvumi Mission in Central Tanzania

  • Tanzania Heart Institute - Maintains the only heart surgical program in East Africa serving over 60 million people.

  • The Nordic Clinic - The Purpose is to render medical services to all Nordic citizens residing or visiting Tanzania. Specializing in diagnosing most of the infectious and tropical diseases of the area. Dar es Salaam.
