Hernia

  • American Hernia - Our mission is to provide an evidence-based scientific and professional forum for education and exchange of information regarding current and future methods of treatment of abdominal wall hernias including hiatal, parastomal, and pelvic hernias. American Hernia Society.

  • Cherubs - The Association of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia Research, Advocacy, and Support. Provides support and information for the families and medical care providers of children born with Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH).

  • Hernia Information - A comprehensive description of the various types of hernias and the different techniques of hernia repair surgery available.

  • Hernia Resource Center - Provides information about the occurrence and treatment of hernias.

  • Hernia Surgery - Personal laparoscopic hernia surgery experience along with hundreds of other experiences.

  • Hernia Surgery Discussion Board - A board for patients to ask other patients any question as to surgery technique, pain, recovery times, and so forth regarding any type of hernia surgery procedure.

  • Kay's Kids - A parent support group for people who have had babies born with congenital diaphragmatic hernia that were either born at or transferred to Shands Children's Hospital. These babies were treated by pediatric surgeon Dr. David Kays.
    National Ambulatory Hernia Institute - Current medical patient on the surgical repair of hernias. Including: inguinal, groin, incisional, umbilical, femoral and ventral, by leading hernia surgeons.
