Advancing Technology, Caring, and Nursing
In light of widespread beliefs within and about nursing that more technology necessarily means
less caring, scholars and practitioners share their experience with issues regarding the
harmonious coexistence of the two. The topics range from foundational issues of caring in
nursing to the influences of technology like machines, language, applications, tele-health, and
ethnico-moral consequences of technology and caring in nursing. The anthology can be used as a
text for courses such as basic nursing or the transformation of contemporary practice.Copyright
