  • AMA Adolescent Health On-Line - A very useful source of information relating to a broad spectrum of issues about adolescents and adoelscent health. Aimed primarily for health practitioners, it is a valuable resource for parents and teachers

  • American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry - The AACAP developed Facts for Families to provide concise and up-to-date information on issues that affect children, teenagers, and their families.

  • Australian Centre for Adolescent Health - It is the mission of the Centre for Adolescent Health to improve the health of young people, through research, health promotion, education, training, advocacy and clinical services.

  • AVERT AIDS Education And Research Trust - This AVERT AIDS site focuses on education about HIV infection, statistics and relevant links. The site also includes UK news selected from a wide range of subjects and details of AVERT's publications. Updates are carried out frequently to ensure topicality.

  • CDC's Adolescent and School Health - CDC's Division of Adolescent and School Health (DASH) seeks to prevent the most serious health risk behaviors among children, adolescents and young adults. 

  • Child Sexual Abuse - An article on the warning signs of child sexual abuse published through the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

  • Children and Divorce - Guidelines for divorced parents. When looking at divorce and how it affects children, one must consider that the parent's coping skills and the child's coping skills are very different. Adolescence is a time for someone to grow as a person: it is not a time to be unhappy.

  • Closer look at teen pregnancy - This documentary was photographed in Ohio and Kentucky during February of 1995. It is intended to give you a personal look at two girls lives and at some of the programs the federal government and private agencies provide for them.

  • Health Development Agency (United Kingdom) - A government agency of the United Kingdom that helps to identify evidence of what works to improve people's health and reduce health inequalities.

  • National Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy - This site provides resources for parents, teens, and support agencies with the goal of reducing teen pregnancies. (USA)

  • Obesity and Weight Control from Michael D. Myers M.D. Inc. - While this site is not specific to teens, it does contain a lot of good information about some causes of obesity and some of the health and psychological problems associated with it.

  • Puberty 101 - Adolescence can be the most wonderful stage of life - and sometimes the most challenging. This fun and interesting resource is for those who are about to, or are, going through these possibly tough times. Geared toward those 8 through 18, this is a low-keyed yet serious look at adolescent issues. p101 features an anonymous Question & Answer section, articles & essays, and other resources to help one through these trying times.

  • Responding to Child Sexual Abuse - When a child tells an adult that he or she has been sexually abused, the adult may feel uncomfortable and may not know what to say or do.

  • Sexual Abuse of Males: Prevalence, Lasting Effects, and Resources - Includes statistics and other information about male sexual abuse. Also has a bibliography and links to resources as well as a section of tips to help readers understand articles about abuse.

  • Spode's Safer Sex Page - Safer Sex Information and Resources, Condom Information, AIDS and HIV Resources, Safer Sex-Related Businesses.

  • Teen Health - The purpose of the Teen Health Project and its associated web pages is to provide public access to a wide range of health and medical information, not to give medical advice or interpretation. Maintained by medical students at Dalhousie University in Canada.

  • Teens: Alcohol And Other Drugs - Teenagers may be involved with alcohol and legal or illegal drugs in various ways. Experimentation with alcohol and drugs during adolescence is common. Unfortunately, teenagers often don’t see the link between their actions today and the consequences tomorrow.

  • The Red Spot - This site is all about periods, but cannot replace your doctor's advice. The Red Spot is a gathering place for the knowledge and experience that women gain about their periods over time, not a medical resource.
