  • American Academy of Wound Management (USA) - is a national multi-disciplinary certifying board for healthcare professionals involved in wound care.
  • American College of Hyperbaric Medicine - In 1983, a group of physicians practicing the developing specialty of hyperbaric medicine formed a professional organization dedicated to serving as a medical specialty society, by founding The American College of Hyperbaric Medicine. They developed a group to deliver the support and services practicing physicians require.
  • American Diabetes Association - The American Diabetes Association is the nation's leading nonprofit health organization providing diabetes research, information and advocacy. Founded in 1940, the American Diabetes Association conducts programs in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, reaching more than 800 communities.
  • American Professional Wound Care Association - The American Professional Wound Care Association (APWCA) is a new hybrid organization unlike any other organization available. The APWCA incorporates all of the various medical specialties involved in treating complex wounds.

  • Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (USA) - The Association for the Advancement of Wound Care (AAWC) is the premier international society for wound care. It is headquartered in the United States. The Association for the Advancement of Wound Care is a nonprofit organization. It was conceived to accomplish and promote excellence in education, clinical practice, public policy and research.
  • Australian Wound Management Association (AWMA) - Our site contains information that relates to the formation, mission, objectives and structure of the Association. Also provided is information on how to join our Association, receive our Journal Primary Intention and news and information on forthcoming conferences, and other publications that the Association may produce from time to time.

  • Canadian Association of Wound Care - The CAWC is a nonprofit organization of health care professionals, industry participants, patients and caregivers dedicated to the advancement of wound care in Canada.

  • European Tissue Repair Society - The European Tissue Repair Society, a non-profit making organisation founded in 1988, aims to promote knowledge and interchange between scientists, healthcare professionals, industry and other individuals that have an interest in tissue repair of all organs.

  • National Coalition for Wound Care (NCWC) (USA) -  is a broad based coalition of associations and organizations.
  • National Pressure Ulcer Advisory Panel - The NPUAP provides multidisciplinary leadership for improved patient outcomes in pressure ulcer prevention and management through Education, Public Policy, & Research.

  • National Alliance of Wound Care (NAWC) - is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the advancement and promotion of excellence in the delivery of wound care to the consumer through credentialing proficiency of wound care practitioners in the United States of America.  

  • South Australian Wound Management Association - The Association is a group of health professionals established to promote and increase awareness of wound management.

  • The UK Tissue Viability Society - The Tissue Viability Society is a registered charity established in 1981 to bring together the multi disciplinary skills of health care professionals in order to raise standards of good practice in the prevention and treatment of pressure sores, leg ulcers and chronic wounds.

  • The UK Wound Care Society - We are a charitable organisation, which aims to improve the care and treatment of persons with wounds, through the provision of education to nurses interested or working in the field of wound management.

  • Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society - The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) is the primary source of information for diving and hyperbaric medicine physiology worldwide.

  • Wound Care Assocation of NSW Inc - The association is now a multidisciplinary, non-profit organisation consisting of persons who are committed to developing & improving wound management through education, research, communication & networking.

  • Wound Healing Society - The Wound Healing Society is a non-profit, international organization composed of clinical and basic scientific investigators. The Society provides a forum for interactive discussions among scientists, physicians, licensed practitioners, industrial representatives and government agencies.

  • Wound Management Association of Ireland - The association was established in May 1996 by a multidisciplinary group of healthcare professionals interested in raising the profile of wound care within Ireland.

  • Wound Ostomy & Continence Nurses' Society - Founded in 1968, the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society (WOCN) is a professional, international nursing society of more than 3700 nurse professionals who are experts in the care of patients with wound, ostomy and continence problems.
