Veterinary Informatics

  • Applications of informatics in veterinary medicine - This study used the peer-reviewed biomedical literature to define the veterinary informatics knowledgebase and associated subspecialties, and assesses the level of activity in the field over the thirty-year period from 1966 through 1995.

  • Association for Veterinary Informatics - The Association intends to communicate options and unbiased evaluations of existing technology and methods in the management and dissemination of veterinary information.

  • RDSVS Veterinary informatics - The School has a strong history of excellence in Veterinary Informatics with the appointment of computing staff in the 1970s, and  the inception of the CLIVE® Unit (Computer-aided Learning in Veterinary Education) in 1992.

  • Veterinary Informatics - Veterinary Informatics is the discipline concerned with the application of information science, engineering, and computer technology to support veterinary teaching, research, and practice. The resources listed below include both veterinary and medical computing applications and programs.

  • Veterinary Informatics and Epidemiology - Mission, To provide an environment which will enable researchers from a variety of disciplines to contribute their scientific talents towards the improvement of animal health and welfare. The mission will be pursued by the application of basic and applied research. In particular, this will include quantitative epidemiology, statistical modelling and information science.
